Use the Map Search to find listings based on their location on a map.

In the map window, locate the geographic area you want to search.

- Specify a visual area you want to search by clicking and dragging a selection on the map image .

- Zoom in (closer) or out (farther) using the zoom buttons to the right of the map window.

- To move the map image, click on the edges or corners of the map window.

Alternatively, you can enter an address or longitude and latitude values in the fields below the map.

WARNING: The Map Search matches listings based on their longitude and latitude, so listings that could not be geo-coded during listing input will not appear in Map Search results. (Note: When a listing is entered, the system verifies its address against a national postal database to obtain the longitude and latitude, or "geo-codes," for the property. Any address that was not recognized by the national postal database during listing input does NOT have longitude and latitude.)
