E-mailing a report to someone

There are two ways to e-mail information on listings to a prospect or other recipient.

E-mail button: This button displays at the bottom of search results, carts, and other places in the MLS. First you must select the listings you want to include, then click the E-mail button. Choose your desired report type, then click Submit. In the E-mail Listings form, enter the appropriate information. If desired, you can preview the selected listings prior to sending the message. Once you are finished, just click Send E-mail to send the message.

When you e-mail listings to a client, they are sent as a link in an e-mail message. When your client clicks the link, the listings are displayed in HTML in the report option you selected. The listings are created in real-time from the listing database at the moment they click the link. Listing e-mails that you send to your clients from the MLS are valid for 30 days.

NOTE: You do not have to have your own e-mail account in order to use this feature.

Send a report: To e-mail one of the many available MLS reports, first run the report, then:

In HTML format:
When the report displays, from the File menu choose Save As. Save the report (using the default file type "Web Page, HTML only"), noting the file name and location. To e-mail the report, create a message using your e-mail software, insert the file as an attachment, and send it to the desired recipient. (Note: Pictures cannot currently be saved with the report in HTML format.)
